Circul8 Pro

Circul8 Pro is a lightweight, portable device that is
designed to prevent a DVT or deep vein thrombosis.

Lightweight, Portable Take Home Device

Circul8 Pro is intended to be an easy to use sequential compression system, prescribed by a physician, for use in the home or clinical setting to help prevent the onset of DVT in patients by stimulating blood flow in the extremities (simulating muscle contractions).

DVT is a blood clot that forms in a vein in the body

Most deep vein blood clots occur in the lower leg or thigh. They also can occur in other parts of the body. A blood clot in a deep vein can break off and travel through the bloodstream. The loose clot is called an embolus (EM-bo-lus). It can travel to an artery in the lungs and block blood flow. This condition is called pulmonary embolism (PULL-mun-ary Em-bo-lizm), or PE. PE is a very serious condition. It can damage the lungs and other organs in the body and cause death.

If the battery is totally depleted, it will take approximately 3.5 hours of continuous charging to fully charge the battery. If you are using it while it is charging, it will take longer.

When powered on and continuously operating, the battery life from full-capacity to total depletion can last up to 8-9 hours. Altitude/hot/cold temperatures can affect battery life. Avoid extreme temperatures.

STEP 1. Inspect the metal connector pin on your charger. This is the piece located at the end of the power supply cord, which plugs into the device. A proper connector pin should appear to be straight and tightly secured to the cord. To determine if the connector pin is functioning properly, gently grip the pin between your index finger and thumb and attempt to carefully wiggle the pin. Upon inspection, if the pin appears to be angled, bent or moves substantially, it’s likely that your charging cords is broken and needs to be replaced. A damaged connector pin will result in insufficient electric current reaching the battery, which will result in improper function. In the event of a broken charger, please contact customer service for a replacement.

STEP 2. Once the power supply cord has been inspected and it is determined that there are no defects, connect your Circul8 Pro devices to the power supply cord. Once the device is connected, plug into a functional wall outlet.

STEP 2 A. If the green indicator light located around the power button flashes, the device is actively charging. Allow the device to charge for a minimum of 3 hours. If the device continues to have trouble maintaining power after it has sufficiently charged, please contact customer support to request a replacement.

STEP 2 B. If the green indicator light located around the power button does NOT illuminate, the device is NOT receiving a charge and there may be an issue with the power supply cord or with the wall outlet to which it is connected. The power supply cord included within your Circul8 Pro package has two connector pins located at the end of the cord. To troubleshoot, replace the charger’s Connector Pin with the secondary Connector Pin. If the green light still does not illuminate, attempt to plug the power supply into an alternative wall outlet. After completing these steps, if you continue to experience charging-related issues,
please contact our customer support specialist to request a replacement.

STEP 1. If you feel you device isn’t inflating properly, first check that the device is properly secured to your leg. Proper usage should have the entire garment of the device fitting snugly around your leg. To ensure proper fit, adjust the top and bottom Velcro fasteners until the entire garment fits flush against your leg.

STEP 2. Upon confirming proper fit, if you feel the device is still inflating improperly, remove the device from your leg, connect it to the power supply cord included within your Circul8 Pro package and allow the device to charge for a minimum of 3 hours. Prior to charging, please inspect the charging cord for defects, according to the steps listed in “What should I do if my device does not appear to be charging when connected to the power supply and/or will not hold a charge after it has charged?“. Once you have allowed the device to recharge, reapply the device to your leg according to the directions listed in Step 1, power on and allow the device to operate for 5 minutes. If the inflation issues still persist, please contact customer service to request a replacement.

Wipe with a damp cloth, mild soap and water. Do not submerge the device in water. Do not expose the housing box or any of the mechanical / electrical components to water.

The pump will inflate each leg cuff to a preset pressure of 50 mmhg and deflate once the pressure is reached. The cycles are repeated on each unit until the power is turned off

The device housing may emit minor warmth during use or during charging, this is not cause for concern. If the device becomes HOT to touch, discontinue use and contact us by phone 888-767-0015.
